Israeli wine goes Biblical with grapes grown from ancient seeds that were discovered at a dig. The scientists have literally brought back from extinction indigenous grapes from a bygone era and made some good looking wine. Don’t know if this mandates a new theme-park ride, even grapes vines that have grown wild aren’t likely to kill anyone. But it’s still pretty cool
Earlier this month, Recanati Winery presented first bottles of white wine grown from indigenous grape species.
